Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm SEN School in Islington. You will support pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties, work 1:1 or in small groups, and collaborate with class teachers to differentiate learning while delivering engaging activities.

The role starts November 2026 with a daily pay range of £95–£110. Experience with phonics and strong communication are essential, and ongoing CPD is offered by Tradewind.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting phonics within The National Curriculum.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Caring and supportive nature with resilience in SEN settings.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties.
• Work 1:1 or in small groups to build confidence and learning.
• Collaborate with Class Teachers to differentiate learning.
• Provide engaging support and activities to the class and pupils.
