Job summary

Astro Education is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant in Macclesfield to provide 1:1 support for children with additional needs. The role involves working with pupils with Autism, ADHD, and other learning challenges.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs.
• Calm, patient, and nurturing demeanor.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child development.

Responsibilities

• Providing tailored 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.
• Assisting with personalized learning activities and interventions.
• Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and wider support staff.

Skills
