Qualifications

• Recent experience with children or young people with additional needs (school or care setting).
• Ability to meet safeguarding and child protection requirements.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual learning needs.
• Support pupils with communication strategies, sensory needs, and emotional regulation.
• Use a calm, patient, and positive approach to manage behaviour effectively.
• Work alongside the class teacher to maintain a structured and inclusive classroom.
• Implement and follow EHCPs accurately.
• Encourage independence, life skills, and active engagement in learning.
