Job summary

Inspire EHC Ltd is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with ASD & Complex Needs in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. The role involves adapting lessons, organising learning resources, and promoting independence within a supportive school environment.

The position is 5 days a week, term-time only, with a daily rate of £95-£105 including holiday pay. A valid Enhanced DBS check is required, and commuting to Welwyn Garden City is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting students with special educational needs is desirable.
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding approach to working with children.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality and promoting the welfare of young people.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
• Must be able to commute to Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities

• Organise engaging learning resources and activities.

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of students with ASD & Complex Needs? We have an incredible opportunity for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our partner school’s supportive and dedicated team in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.

This SEN School provides support to Primary and Secondary aged pupils and are committed to helping students thrive in small groups by offering tailored support. If you’re flexible, sensitive, patient, and resilient, this role is perfect for you!

Position Details:

Location: Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.

Position: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Hours: Monday-Friday 09:00-15:30 (Term-Time Only)

Salary: £95-£105/Day inclusive of 12.07% Holiday Pay

Contract: Temp to Perm

1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
