Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Cardiff
Daily Rate: £95 - £100 per day
Position Type: Full-time | Term-time only

Supply Hive Wales is working in partnership with a fantastic specialist school in Cardiff, and we’re looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team.
This is a brilliant opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of young people who require additional support. Whether you have previous experience in a SEN setting or a genuine interest in this area of education, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role:

  • Supporting pupils with ALN (Additional Learning Needs), including Autism, speech and language needs, and complex learning difficulties
  • Working closely with the class teacher and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
  • Helping pupils access the curriculum and reach their full potential
  • Managing behaviour in a calm and consistent manner
  • Building strong, positive relationships with students and staff
About You:
  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a SEN or care setting
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient
  • Able to use initiative and work well as part of a team
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of learners
  • A current Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one)
  • Relevant qualifications or training (e.g. Team Teach, Manual Handling, ALN awareness) are desirable but not essential
