An educational support organization in Wales seeks an SEN Teaching Assistant to help pupils with Special Educational Needs. The role involves providing support on a 1:1 and small group basis, assisting teachers, and promoting positive behaviour. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN, strong communication skills, and a commitment to the welfare of children.
To work under the direction of the class teacher and senior staff to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in accessing a broad and balanced curriculum. The SEN Teaching Assistant will play a vital role in helping pupils develop both educationally and socially, working 1:1 or with small groups, and supporting behaviour, communication, and physical needs as appropriate.
