Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Sutton
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing

Protocol Education is looking for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in schools across Sutton. This role is perfect for someone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and group support to children with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs.
  • Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging and accessible learning activities.
  • Encourage pupil independence, inclusion, and positive behaviour.
  • Support emotional, social, and academic development in a nurturing way.
  • Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN in schools or similar settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, flexible, and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
