Heathermount is a day school, owned by Cavendish, set in 12 acres of beautiful grounds in Ascot, Berkshire. In October 2024 we had an Outstanding Ofsted inspection. We provide a high-quality education for students aged 5-18 who have a primary diagnosis of Autism. All our students have an Educational Health & Care Plan. We are a well-resourced school with small classes (max 8) with students supported by a team of educational and therapeutic staff who work in unison to achieve the best outcome for our learners. Teaching assistants support our students in their learning by either working with individuals or groups of students. They also contribute to the assessment, planning, recording, monitoring, and reporting of students' progress. The post will require the successful applicant to undertake any such duties as may be assigned which are consistent with the nature of the job and the level of responsibility.
