SEN TA:

Location - Trafford:

Teaching Personnel is currently working with a secondary school in Altrincham that requires an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team part-time from September. This is a great opportunity to be part of a welcoming and supportive team, helping support a child with Autism on a 1:1 basis. The pay for this role will be £89-£100 per day, depending on experience. The school is conveniently located near various public transport links and has access to staff car parks.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience with SEN pupils is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of how SEN, particularly Autism, can affect learning.
• The ability and knowledge to create a tailored and engaging learning environment.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil who has Autism. You will liaise with the classroom teacher and the SENCO to provide regular feedback on the pupil's progress to help them reach their full potential.
