SEN Primary & Secondary School catering for students with SEMH

Location: Stevenage

Hours: 8.30am to 3.45pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

Salary: 80 - 100 per day, depending on experience

Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:

• Maintain the classroom and equipment in a safe and tidy condition.
• Record observations of pupils during the school day to assist in record-keeping.
• Communicate knowledge and understanding of students to other school staff.
• Demonstrate positive attitudes, values, and behaviours in line with the role and school expectations.
• Support inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities.
• Provide teaching and learning support, including the use of appropriate technical resources.
• Support and teach students with SEN and additional needs.
• Collaborate with other SEN Teaching Assistants in group settings with students.
