We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our partnered esteemed Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Melbourn, Cambridgeshire, on a permanent, full-time basis.

This school provides a supportive and nurturing environment for children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. They focus on creating meaningful learning experiences tailored to each student, and are looking for someone who shares a commitment to making a positive difference.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with class teachers to support the learning, development, and wellbeing of pupils with diverse needs
  • Deliver one-to-one or small group interventions to support learning and engagement
  • Assist in the implementation of personalised education and behaviour plans
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Provide personal care or mobility support, where required
  • Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, and social skills
  • Support classroom activities and manage behaviour in line with school policies
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to assessments and reports as needed
