Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and vibrant SEN school in Tunbridge Wells.

This well-regarded SEN school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for children and young people with a variety of additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and communication challenges. The school is committed to fostering independence, building confidence, and celebrating every child's unique potential.

Your Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teachers in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Work 1:1 or in small groups to provide tailored support to students.
  • Assist with classroom activities, personal care, and behavior management.
  • Help pupils develop their social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for each student.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A caring and patient individual with a genuine passion for working with children with SEN.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
