Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant in West Yorkshire to support pupils with Special Educational Needs. The role involves one-to-one and small group support, assisting teachers, and helping learners access lessons with patience and care.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in West Yorkshire. This rewarding role involves working closely with pupils who require additional support to access learning, develop social skills, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Support pupils with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and SENCOs.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
