Job summary

Veritas Education are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant at an excellent SEN School specialising in ASD and non-verbal students. You will provide one-on-one or small group support and help maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.

The role requires a good knowledge of the National Curriculum, confidence with behaviour management, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies. Start date is as soon as possible and pay is £14.24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and inclusive practices.
• Familiarity with the National Curriculum to support learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support holistic development of students.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of students.


• Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to the teaching staff.

• Have good knowledge of the National Curriculum to support students with their learning.


• An optimistic outlook and determination to make a difference to children's education.
