As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will connect directly with the pupils we care for, helping them get the best from their education. Each pupil has a diagnosis of Autism and may have additional needs. They have much potential, and they will rely on you to guide their learning journeys bespoke to them.
You will help prepare learning materials, run classroom activities, and support their emotional and physical needs, encouraging their development and engagement with the world.
You will face challenges and overcome them as you grow professionally, sharing your skills and learning from others along the way.
Every day will be different, but you will have support, skills, and guidance to help you succeed.
Provide examples of knowledge of SEN needs and autism.

Our New Options School, Papworth Hall School, is located in the picturesque village of Papworth Everard, Cambridgeshire. Our specialist school caters for young people with complex communication needs, autism, and associated learning and emotional needs, with capacity for around 30 students.
For over 16 years, Options Autism has provided care and education to individuals with autism and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes First Group, we lead in delivering innovative approaches that produce measurable outcomes.
