An innovative secondary school in New Milton is looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support students aged 11 to 16 with a variety of complex needs, including SEMH challenges.
The school is a specialist setting designed for students requiring a nurturing and alternative approach to mainstream education.

Your Role Will Involve:
Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis with SEN and SEMH needs
Promoting engagement, routine and emotional regulation throughout the school day
Assisting with learning both in and out of the classroom in an alternative provision setting
Encouraging confidence, independence and resilience in vulnerable learners
Working closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff
What We’re Looking For:
A caring, empathetic and patient individual with a strong desire to make a difference
Experience with SEN or SEMH is desirable but not essential—training is provided
Someone who can remain calm and consistent, even in challenging situations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
