Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our team in Neath and the surrounding areas. You will support children with special educational needs in local schools, providing focused assistance during lessons. Role details include day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements with a start date ASAP.

Working hours are 8:30 am–3:30 pm (full day) or half-day sessions. Benefits include a competitive daily rate of £95, weekly pay, and free online training

Qualifications

• Individuals with a passion for helping children succeed.
• Proactive, attentive, and able to take initiative.
• Experience in childcare or working with ALN is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• A current DBS (or willingness to apply) and EWC registration.

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEN in classrooms and adapt activities.
• Follow instructions from teaching staff and maintain safeguarding standards.
• Assist with behaviour management and promoting inclusive learning.
