Connex Education are working with a SEN primary school in Solihull who are looking for a Teaching Assistant.

This position requires you to support the teaching and learning of pupils. You will be required to work 1:1 with children with additional needs (SEN), mainly Autism and PMLD. On most occasions you will be allocated a specific student or group and work with them throughout the whole of your placement, so you will have the opportunity to build a strong rapport with the pupils.

Role Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning OR Equivalent Level 3 UK Educational qualifications desired.
  • Previous experience working in Education would be advantageous.

  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
