Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Rate of pay: £425 – £475 P/W

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting children with a variety of additional needs, ensuring they can access learning and reach their full potential.
You will provide both one-to-one and small group support, tailoring your approach to meet the individual needs of each pupil. This may involve adapting resources, breaking down tasks, and offering encouragement to build confidence.
Working closely with teachers and the SENCO, you will help implement support plans and promote positive behaviour. A big part of the role will also be encouraging independence and developing social skills, helping pupils to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
This primary school serves children aged 3 to 11, including nursery provision with morning sessions for up to 40 children and a wrap-around care programme. It promotes a nurturing environment where pupils become confident learners and achieve high standards within a safe, healthy, and supportive setting. The school works closely with staff, parents, governors, and the wider community to help every child reach their potential.
