Location: Maidstone and surrounding areas
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Short-term, long-term & temp-to-perm opportunities
Daily Rate: £90–£105 (depending on experience)

Are you compassionate, patient, and passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? Teaching Personnel is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for a range of full-time and part-time positions within Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across Maidstone and surrounding areas, starting this September.

These rewarding roles will involve working closely with students who may have a wide range of learning difficulties and complex needs, either 1:1 or in small groups, helping them to access the curriculum and develop socially, emotionally, and academically.

You may be supporting students with:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
  • Physical Disabilities or Sensory Impairments
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs is highly desirable
  • Individuals with previous experience in a classroom, care, or youth support setting
  • Graduates with a background in psychology, education, or related fields looking to gain experience in SEND
  • Calm, adaptable, and resilient personalities who thrive in supportive roles
