Job description

Reeson Education is working closely with a welcoming, inclusive Primary School in Brent as they expand their specialist provision for children with autism. The school is seeking several compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team from September 2025.

These are rewarding, full-time positions ideal for candidates passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them access learning in a positive, nurturing environment.

About the Role of SEN Teaching Assistant:

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll support pupils with autism and additional learning needs, helping them engage with the curriculum, develop social skills, and build confidence in the classroom. You'll work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to provide tailored support to meet each child's individual needs.

  • Previous experience supporting children with autism or special educational needs

  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and basic IT skills
