SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Salary: 89-105

Are you a SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion to help children reach their full potential? Empowering Learning is working with several Primary schools in the Hackney area who are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team. We are looking for energetic and productive individuals who can build rapport with both staff and students. You must have good communication skills, patience, and a desire to support and encourage every student to fulfill their full potential.

The SEN Teaching Assistant post is ideal for any graduate who wants to support SEN pupils or someone who is already experienced working with SEN children. Working as part of a team, you will be supporting children across all primary year groups with all classroom activities. You could be classroom-based or outside of the classroom and must have the confidence to lead intervention groups. Experience working with children who have Autism or ADHD in any setting is desirable, as well as knowledge of various types of complex needs.
