Job summary

Exclusive Education Ltd is recruiting a full-time Teaching Assistant to support with complex needs students in a secondary school in Fazackerley, Liverpool. You will work as part of an experienced education team dedicated to the SEN sector.

Applicants should hold a relevant TA qualification (NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1–3), have eligibility to work in the UK, and experience with children in the last 2 years. DBS/update service or willingness to apply is required.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1–3).
• Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
• Previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years.
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Experience with EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3.
• Level 3 qualification desirable.
• Two references working with children.
• Current DBS registered with update service or willing to apply for a new one.

Responsibilities

• Support complex needs students in a secondary school.
• Work with an experienced team of education specialists focused on SEN.
• Assist with delivering the full curriculum and assessment tasks as required.

Teaching Assistant to work with complex needs secondary students

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant to support with complex needs students on a full time basis within a Secondary complex needs school in Fazackerley.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3)
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Previous EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 experience
• Level 3 Qualification would be desirable
• Two references working with children
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
