Job summary

Exclusive Education Ltd in Birkenhead is seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support complex needs secondary students within a busy school environment. You will work across lessons, contribute to safeguarding and behaviour strategies, and help pupils access the curriculum with patience and dedication.

Applicants should have relevant TA qualifications, DBS, and be eligible to work in the UK. Two references and experience with children in the last two years are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3).
• Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
• Two references working with children.
• Experience with EYFS/ KS1/ KS2/ KS3 is desirable.
• Must hold a current DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply.

SEN Teaching Assistant to work with complex needs secondary students

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support with complex needs students on a full time basis within a Secondary complex needs school in Birkenhead.

Required qualifications and experience

• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3)
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Previous EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 experience
• Level 3 Qualification would be desirable
• Two references working with children
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
