– Ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment

– Aid in educational development

– Ability to identify issues in pupils learning

– Work closely with class teachers to implement individual education plans and adapt lessons to meet student needs

SEN Teaching Assistant – Essential requirements

– SEND experience

– Previous work experience in a school

– A caring and patient approach with strong communication skills

– Knowledge of strategies for supporting children with a range of learning difficulties

– Right to work in the UK

– Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to get one
