SEN Teaching Assistants - Primary Schools | Leeds

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? We are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term roles in primary schools across Leeds, starting ASAP.

Location: Leeds

Start Date: Immediate

Type: Full-time, long-term

Pay: £90-£100 per day

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
  • Assist in small group interventions to boost learning and engagement
  • Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to tailor support strategies
  • Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidates Will Have
  • Experience working with children with SEN (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech & language needs)
  • A patient, empathetic and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
