Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join an amazing specialist SEN school in King’s Lynn. This is a full-time, long-term role providing 1:1 support to a female student, while also offering general assistance across the wider student community as needed.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students with additional needs and making a real difference in a nurturing educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 tailored support to a female student with special educational needs.
• Assist in delivering engaging learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff.
• Support students with their emotional, social, and academic development.
• Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and other staff to track progress and provide feedback.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a 1:1 capacity.
• Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and meet individual student needs.
• A proactive, team-player attitude.
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential with the right experience.
