About the Role

Academics is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive school located in Hounslow. The school offers a well-structured curriculum from early years to Year 6. We are looking for a passionate, patient, and empathetic individual to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and ensure they have the best possible learning experience.

Position Details
  • Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Primary School in Hounslow
  • Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  • Daily Rate: £90 - £110 (Choice of Umbrella or PAYE)
Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with various SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
  2. Assist in the delivery of tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs.
  3. Support the social and emotional development of students with SEN, fostering confidence and independence.
  4. Promote positive behaviour and attitudes within the school community.
Candidate Requirements

We welcome applications from graduates with experience working with children with SEN, whether in paid or voluntary settings, or experienced teaching assistants holding a degree or Level 3 childcare qualification. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
