Salary: Dependent on experience

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and inclusive school? The primary school in Camden is seeking a committed Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.This Special Needs Teaching Assistant role requires someone who is patient, enthusiastic, and able to adapt to the individual learning styles of our children.

We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who:

  • Has experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting
  • Is confident in delivering targeted interventions
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
  • Is flexible, resilient, and proactive in a busy classroom environment
  • Is passionate about inclusion and ensuring all pupils reach their potential

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Have experience working with children with SEND
  • Ideally have experience working with SEN children on 1:1 basis
  • The ability to build rapport with the child and be able to respond to the child's individual needs
  • Have delivered lessons tailored to children's needs as outlined in their individual education plan
