Senploy in Beckton, East London is seeking an experienced Post-16 SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with complex needs in a specialist setting.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, managing challenging behaviour and assisting with personal care, to help students develop communication and daily living skills within a safe learning environment.

Qualificações

• Previous experience supporting individuals with complex SEN is essential.
• Experience in SEN schools or specialist settings is desirable.
• Confidence managing challenging behaviour and providing intimate personal care.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Post 16 SEN Teaching Assistant - Severe ASD & Challenging Behaviour

Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday

Setting: Specialist SEN School

We are seeking an experienced, resilient and confident SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist Post-16 provision in East London, supporting young people with complex special educational needs.

The setting supports students with severe autism (ASD), severe learning difficulties, non-verbal communication needs and physically challenging behaviour. This is a demanding but rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a genuine difference to young people's lives.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to Post-16 students with complex SEN.
