SEN Teaching Assistant - Deal

Contract: Full Time or Part Time – Start ASAP

Salary: £70-£110

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support tailored to the specific needs of students with SEND, ensuring they can access the curriculum and participate fully in classroom activities.
• Work collaboratively with the teacher to deliver engaging lessons and provide support to small groups or individual students.
• Modify learning materials and activities to suit the individual abilities and needs of students.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students, especially during practical activities or in SEN-specific situations.

Skills/ Qualifications:

• A caring and understanding nature to support students with varying abilities and challenges.
• Knowledge of techniques to manage and support challenging behaviour positively and constructively.
• Prior experience in supporting children with special needs, such as autism, ADHD, or physical disabilities, in a school or similar setting.
• Experience or training in education, child development, or related areas, though formal qualifications are not always required.
