Five Education in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Education Needs in a CHARD-based special school. You will provide 1:1 or small-group support, helping with learning, communication and emotional regulation.
The role requires safeguarding adherence, DBS checks, and references, with opportunities to collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement learning plans. Experience is not essential, but resilience and clear communication are key.
Five Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a special school in Chard. The role is to support identified pupils with Special Education Needs (SEN) and/or mental health challenges. This work will be supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups.
*Please note, if you do not have a Non‑Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70. This will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.
Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fee or employer's NI. Please note the pay rate is for illustration and does include holiday pay.
