Teaching assistant – Hearing Impaired pupils

Cardiff – Full time, September 2025

• Do you have experience supporting pupils with hearing impairments?
• Do you have British sign language (BSL) level 1 qualification, or would you be willing to learn to effectively support pupils with hearing impairments in school?
• Looking for full time, Monday to Friday with school holidays off
• Excellent rate of pay - £88.92 - £101.92 per day
• Opportunity to support pupils with a wide range of learning difficulties
• School known to appoint staff permanently if you prove yourself to be a reliable, trustworthy and hard-working member of staff

Normal Hours

8.30am – 3.30pm Mon – Friday with school holidays off!

Vision for Education work very closely with a busy, forward-looking primary school that provides education and specialist facilities for primary aged pupils with hearing impairments.

The school is a purpose-built school that offers pupils many unique and innovative features in order to provide the best education experience possible. Everything the school do is pupil centred as ‘pupils are at the heart of what we do’.

The school provide rich and individualised learning opportunities for pupils to develop their skills and understanding to create an exciting school community.

The school are looking for someone to embody the school’s ‘TEAM’ ethos and culture and be a true ambassador of the schools’ values.

You would need to be a hard-working, reliable and trustworthy individual with a passion for supporting pupils with hearing impairments. No day is ever the same and we are looking for someone who is able to think on their feet as well as provide the best care and education for their pupils.
