Job description

A leading and award-winning group of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools is seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join their growing team at their school in Cambridgeshire.

Renowned for their outstanding provision, personalised approach, and inclusive learning environments, this school group supports children and young people with a wide range of needs including autism, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning challenges.

The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting students both in and out of the classroom, helping to deliver tailored educational programmes that enable every learner to reach their full potential.

Requirements for the role:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in education, care, or similar settings)
  • A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach
  • A willingness to learn and work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team
  • A good level of literacy and numeracy
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of individual pupils

While formal qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent are desirable, training and development opportunities are available for the right candidates.
