SEN Teaching Assistant

Accelerate Teaching are on the lookout for a SEN TA to work with a child in Key Stage 2 (KS2) at a primary school in Batley. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to a child with special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to support positive behaviour and minimise disruptions in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and behaviour intervention plans.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
