SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Monmouthshire
Contract: Long-Term Full-Time Term Time Only
Roles: Temporary Full Time and Permanent Opportunities Available

Sector: Primary Education (SEN Support)

Are you passionate about making a real difference in children's lives? Do you have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Monmouthshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support children with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and group support for pupils with SEN
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
  • Help create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Monitor pupil progress and contribute to EHCPs and support plans
  • Foster independence, confidence and positive behaviour
