Hays Education has recently seen an increased need for local Special Educational Needs Teachers in schools across Greater Manchester for day-to-day and long-term supply, with the potential for permanent contracts. We work with a number of schools across Salford, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Tameside, Trafford, and Stockport, offering local work in areas you prefer. Currently, we are recruiting on behalf of an Alternative Provision School in Manchester for students aged 11-18 who have been excluded from mainstream education due to challenging behaviour. The school seeks passionate individuals confident in building trusting and positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development.

Your new role

We are recruiting a full-time Special Educational Needs Teacher to join the team ASAP on a temporary to permanent basis. We seek exceptional individuals who thrive in challenging settings, working with students who have diverse needs. The role involves making a positive impact on students' lives, supporting their social, life, and independence skills, and building trusting relationships. You will provide individual attention, reassurance, and assistance with learning and daily tasks as needed.
