Job summary

Old Moat is seeking two SEN Teachers to join Camberwell Park Specialist School on permanent, full-time contracts. Start date: 1 January 2027. Roles on Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale with SEN allowance.

Ideal candidates will hold QTS, have experience with additional needs, and be committed to personalised learning and high standards. These roles offer the chance to contribute to meaningful pupil outcomes and to work within a supportive team dedicated to professional development and school

Qualifications

• QTS (or working towards) and eligible to teach in the UK
• Degree or equivalent qualification required
• Successful teaching experience in the relevant phase
• Willingness to participate in CPD activities
• Experience of working with young people
• Qualified to teach and work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging lessons that meet diverse learning needs
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress with appropriate interventions
• Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development
• Promote positive behaviour for learning and pupil wellbeing
• Contribute to curriculum planning, teaching resources and assessment practices
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning
• Build relationships with parents, carers and external agencies
• Contribute to school self-evaluation and improvement initiatives
• Engage in professional development and support colleagues

Education

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Degree or equivalent qualification

Successful teaching experience in relevant phase
