Location: Slough, Berkshire

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our committed teaching team in Slough. The successful candidate will work with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Speech and Language Difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

You will play a key role in creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that enables every learner to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Setting clear learning objectives and using a range of teaching strategies to engage and support pupils.
  • Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and the SENCO to ensure effective support and intervention.
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, keeping accurate records, and reporting regularly to parents and carers.
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school and maintaining a positive, safe learning environment.
Qualifications and Attributes
  • A qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS) with experience teaching pupils with SEN (experience within an SEN or mainstream setting will be considered).
