Job summary

Academics is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a mainstream primary school in Sittingbourne/Swale area. You will support pupils with SEN, helping them access learning, build confidence and achieve potential.

The role is full-time, within standard school hours, and requires commitment to inclusive education. The ideal candidate will have SEN experience, knowledge of SEN provision, excellent behaviour management, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or supporting pupils with SEN.
• Experience working within a mainstream school environment.
• Strong understanding of SEN provision and inclusive education.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
• Ability to differentiate learning to meet individual needs.
• QTS or relevant teaching qualifications preferred.
• Driving is preferred, travel via public transport acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN to access learning and develop confidence.
