Job summary

Willow Bank School, an SEMH provision in St Helens, seeks a passionate Maths teacher dedicated to pupil engagement and progression. The successful candidate will work with small class sizes, ensuring that each pupil's special educational needs are met. Qualifications

  • Experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary level.

We are seeking a Maths teacher who has high expectations and is committed to helping pupils to become confident, secure and happy learners. We welcome applications from subject specialisms in Mathematics and IT. Experience in teaching at secondary level, with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable. The ability to plan and deliver engaging sessions for mixed ability classes of approximately 8 pupils is essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to ensure that pupils' special educational needs are being addressed in line with the pupil's individual EHCP whilst having due regard for the school's philosophy and policies.
