A specialist education provider is seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to join their team at Underley Garden School. This fixed-term role includes a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, allowing work-life balance improvements. The successful candidate will work with pupils with complex needs, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development. Location: Underley Garden School, Kirkby Lonsdale, LA6 2DZ
Salary: Up to GBP41,000.00 per annum (DOE) + GBP1,000 Welcome Bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Fixed Term ending October 2026, Term Time Only
Start: October 2025

As a SEN Teacher, you'll make a real difference in the lives of pupils with complex needs. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual needs, working in a resource-rich environment with expert support.
Your focus will be on inspiring growth academically, socially, and emotionally, while monitoring and assessing students to prioritize their wellbeing and development.

You will need:
Underley Garden School caters to pupils aged 5-19 with complex needs related to autism and learning disabilities, including communication, sensory, and behavioral challenges.

Note: You'll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay, with the 4-Day Working Week subject to probation. The Welcome Bonus is GBP500 after 3 months and GBP500 after completing probation, with terms applying.
