SEN Teacher Opportunity in Leicester!
Hays are working in partnership with a large SEN school in Leicester to find a SEN Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 Team. This is a long-term role to commence after Easter until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will have experience teaching pupils with a range of additional needs including Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities.

Your new role
In your new job as a Teacher with Hays, you will take on teaching responsibility for pupils in this Key Stage 2 class with complex medical conditions. You'll work with like-minded practitioners to deliver the school's excellent curriculum. You'll benefit from ongoing support from your Hays consultant, Hollie, who will help you find the placements which suit your skills and needs.
What you need to succeed
To succeed in your new job, you'll hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a minimum of 2 years' experience teaching in a SEND environment. You're someone who loves taking on a challenge and you enjoy adapting to new situations. You'll have supported pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, Autism Spectrum Conditions, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and/or Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities. Most importantly, you'll be confident stepping into a new school and ready to support pupils with a range of needs.
