SEN Teacher – KS1 – URGENT START

Location: Birmingham

Duration: Ongoing, Full-time

Salary: £160 – £180 per day

The School/Role:

We are currently partnering with a highly regarded school in the Birmingham area, seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN teacher for a full-time position. This school is focused on providing quality education to students with moderate learning difficulties and additional needs. The institution is equipped with specialized resources and facilities designed to meet the unique educational requirements of its students.

The successful candidate for this role should have a wealth of experience in a similar position, a positive outlook, and a strong work ethic.

Their primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering individualized lesson plans tailored to the specific needs of students.
  • Collaborating with a teaching assistant to ensure effective classroom management.
  • Prioritizing the academic success and personal growth of each student.
  • Being a proactive and enthusiastic member of a dedicated team of educators.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in planning and delivering effective lessons.
  • Immediate availability to start the position.
  • Level 1 safeguarding certificate.
  • Previous experience as a class teacher.
  • Recent, verifiable school-based references.
  • Valid Photo ID (e.g., Driving License or Passport).
  • A comprehensive DBS check, registered on the update service.
