SEN Class Teachers - Northampton
Start Date: September 2025 Full-Time & Part-Time Long-Term Opportunities

Are you a compassionate and dedicated teacher with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs?

Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with a number of specialist and mainstream schools in Northampton that are seeking SEN Class Teachers to join their teams from September 2025. We are looking for multiple teachers to work in a range of settings, supporting pupils with a variety of needs including ASD, MLD, SLD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties.

These rewarding roles are open to experienced SEN teachers as well as enthusiastic ECTs looking to begin or grow their career in special education.



What you'll be doing:

  • Planning and delivering personalised, inclusive lessons tailored to meet individual EHCP targets

  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment

  • Using a range of strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour

  • Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals

  • Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records of pupil development



You'll be a great fit if you:

  • Hold UK QTS or QTLS and have a strong interest or experience in SEN teaching

  • Have experience teaching or supporting students with additional needs (in SEN or mainstream settings)

  • Are calm, patient, and adaptable with excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Understand the importance of differentiated teaching and inclusive practice

  • Are committed to supporting all pupils to reach their full potential
