Exciting SEND Teaching Opportunity - Secondary & Post-16 Autism Specialist School in Hackney!

Are you an experienced SEND Teacher with strong behaviour management skills looking for a rewarding, full-time role?

Career Teachers are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join a secondary and post-16 school for children with autism in Hackney. This temp-to-perm position starts in September 2025 and offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of young learners.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Overseas Teaching Certificate recognised by Naric.
  • Strong experience in SEN teaching, particularly autism.
  • Proven behaviour management skills with a compassionate approach.
  • Child and Adult DBS on the update service (essential).
