Polaris is seeking a dedicated teacher for Selwyn Hall School, a new SEN school for 7-18s with SEMH. The role involves delivering the full curriculum, planning and presenting lessons for diverse abilities, and working within a supportive Polaris community that strives for outstanding pupil outcomes.

The position is full-time term-time, with 8.30am–4.00pm hours, in a fully inclusive environment. DBS check is required, and Polaris covers the cost.

Formación

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status.
• Successful Primary School Teaching experience.
• A good knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils needs.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, prepare and present lessons across the allocated curriculum.
• Motivate pupils through enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and other professionals to ensure high standards.
• Monitor and assess pupils' progress and provide regular feedback.
• Use varied teaching strategies and resources to promote engagement.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment and consistent behaviour.
