Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance

An 'Outstanding' specialist setting in the Greater London area is looking for a passionate, creative, and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their inclusive and forward-thinking team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a high-performing, well-resourced environment.
Teach children and young people aged 2–19 with a range of complex needs including PMLD, sensory impairments, physical disabilities, autism, and behaviours of concern
Deliver a highly individualised, multi-sensory curriculum in a small, supportive class setting
Use specialist strategies such as TEACCH, PECS, Attention Autism, Intensive Interaction, and sensory integration techniques
Work collaboratively with therapists, families, and multi-agency professionals to deliver impactful, pupil-centred support
Build nurturing relationships that empower learners and promote both personal and academic growth
Adapt teaching and assessment to support a wide range of learning profiles
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – applications from ECTs welcome!
Solid understanding of child development and experience supporting learners with complex needs
Confident working with Multi-Sensory Impairments (MSI), autism, medical needs, and behaviours of concern
Creative, flexible and enthusiastic – able to think outside the box to engage every learner
Team player who values collaborative, multidisciplinary work
Resilient, adaptable, and energised by the challenges and rewards of SEN teaching
