Location: Salford, Greater Manchester

Contract Type: Temporary (with a view to permanent)

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher with the ability to teach English & Math up to GCSE Foundation level? Hays Education is working in partnership with a well-established specialist secondary school in Salford to recruit an enthusiastic teacher to join their team from September 2025.

  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including teaching assistants, pastoral staff, and external agencies.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and emotional wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the wider community and uphold the school’s values and ethos.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in an SEN or alternative provision setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Maths and English, with the ability to teach up to GCSE Foundation level.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills and a trauma-informed approach.
  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners and helping them achieve their potential.
