Education Matters Group in Twickenham is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to join a welcoming, well-resourced school. You will deliver tailored lessons to small groups of pupils with severe and complex SEN, and collaborate with therapists and the wider team to meet EHCP outcomes.

Start date ASAP. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, long-term, with daily rates of £180-£250. You'll be in a supportive environment that values creativity, inclusivity, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with severe and complex SEN.
• Experience with ASD, PMLD, SEMH, or complex needs is advantageous.
• QTS or teaching qualifications preferred.
• Calm, patient and empathetic approach to learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly tailored, engaging lessons to small groups of pupils with severe and complex SEN.
• Support children with severe learning difficulties and complex additional needs.
• Create a calm, structured, positive and nurturing environment.
• Work with Teaching Assistants, therapists and the multidisciplinary team to support EHCP outcomes.
• Adapt teaching and communication strategies to meet individual needs.
• Support pupils in developing communication, independence, social and life skills.
• Monitor progress and contribute to individualised learning plans.
